Only 25 kilometres North West of Surfers Paradise is the beautiful Tamborine Mountain. Famous for its main street Gallery Walk, lined with may quaint restaurants, art galleries and specialty boutique shops. There are many bed and breakfasts to choose from and popular for weekend or romantic getaways. This is a perfect spot for bush walkers with many hiking trials and also hang gliders. The views from various points on Tamborine Mountain are simply breathtaking.
Approximately 25 kilometres South West of Surfers Paradise is Springbrook Mountain. Somewhat smaller than Tamborine Mountain, you will find many walking trails and beautiful water falls within its National Parks. This scenic mountain is also very popular for its chalets and bed and breakfasts.
